An epic can generally be described as a long narrative poem in idealistic style presenting characters of high position, or hitmanic quality, in adventures whose actions become episodes important to the history of a nation or a race. I can see that towards the terminate of the story Adam and Eve could be considered heroes because they begin the buyback and redemption of mankind. In a sense, Satan can be considered the hero at the beginning of the story because he wins the battle of obedience from Adam and Eve as well as having many fallen angel followers.
