Nowadays, there are nuclear weapons which are hundreds of times to a greater extent powerful than the ones dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. As a matter of fact, the United States has ballistic missiles which can carry a nuclear consignment capable of destroying entire cities in minutes. If this were to happen, other countries with such capabilities would follow. This would vote down millions of people in seconds.



A mushroom cloud would voyage hundreds of miles, killing innocent people with its radiation, consequently, our human existence could receive to an end.
Another reason is that nuclear weapons are a waste of money. The United States spends billions of dollars every year in the maintaining and developing of such weapons. Instead, the government should use this money to improve the education of our children who are the future of our human race. Our children are behind in maths and science, compare to children from other nations. All the money spent in these weapons could be used to feed millions of children who are starving in impoverish nations. Our roads could also use some of the money that the U.S is wasting.
