William Shakespe ars gruesome Elizabethan tragedy Macbeth is a violent depiction of just what can happen when blood-thirsty opposition overthrows logic, rationality and reason. So lets keep it as Aristotelian tragedy, throw it into a modern context, perhaps a nightclub somewhere in New York and add to this an escalating drug-addiction and a lust for absolute power. Complete chaos, bloodshed and suicide are sure to result. Utter tragedy.

With our hold of attracting and engaging a contemporary audience, I have elect to set Macbeth in the New York nightclub scene hump with companionship pincer hierarchy and outlandish costumes. Club Kid is a title referring to the most devoted inhabitants of New Yorks nightclubs who are known for their extreme partying, extravagant costumes and frequent flakiness in recreational drugs.
The Club Kids were brought to international fame in the 1990s by the release of the controversial book Disco bloodbath and the blockbuster film Party Monster, These two texts suck up the extremity of the competition on the club scene to ferment the most famous Club Kid on the party circuit Wild parties hosted at the nightclubs had a surreal, dream- akin atmosphere step up by the exotically dressed Club Kids, pounding techno, trance and habitation music, flashing lights and common substance abuse. This sinister dream public of the nightclubs plays backdrop to the ultimate in popularity contests. Contests, where the most dedicated Club Kids (often intoxicated by illicit substances) will go to each lengths to attain the coveted social status, even murder.
