Good afternoon Faculty,
end-to-end the past few weeks, I gain taken just about trips around our facility and charter found some issues, in which are very important. I retain spy that in our accounting department, the handling of checks is not very secure.
Handling of checks should be done in a professional manner. I have noticed that the company has chosen to not use pre numbered checks. I have put in an order to change that because I deal it is important to keep track of all(a) checks two coming in and going out. I exit in like manner be delegating two people who leave alone have access to the checks. Please keep in mind that anyone will be able to write a check, nevertheless it moldiness be approved by your manager.
I’ve also noticed that too many people have access to all departments of the company. Due to the fact that this company handles high levels of cash and inventory, it will now be mandatory that badges worn will fall flat access to certain people for every department.
I think that this company is headed for a great place in the future, and I would just like to make sure, the Idaho Company does not arrive a victim to theft or fraud. This is what ruins a company. I am also requesting that background checks be done for employees currently handling the money.
If you should have any further questions regarding the new change, disport do not hesitate to contact either myself, or speak with your manager directly as they will have a better understanding of the new procedures coming on board. These changes will not be in effect overnight, but as of July 1, 2009 these new procedures will be implemented. Failure to respect will result in either suspension or termination.
