Seton was an early pioneer of the modern rail of animal fiction writing, his most popular work cosmos Wild Animals I have Known, which contains the story of the bulgeing of the masher called Lobo.

The following twenty-four hour period the baits were gone so Seton assumed Lobo was dead, but later that flush he found the baits. They were covered in evidence that Lobo
