Odysseus is the main part of Homers poem The Odyssey. Odysseus is the king of Ithaca and is on a journey gage from the Trojan War. The character Aeneas in Virgils Aeneid, is telling his paper of how Troy was destroyed by the Greeks during the Trojan War. Odysseus is Greek plot of ground Aeneas is Trojan but therere both know as epic heroes and have many similarities and differences. Odysseus is one of the epic heroes known for his brain as well as his muscle. He is a man with an inquiring mind, and he is also a man with outstanding bravery. Odysseuss top-notch athletic ability also only adds more to this insuperable character. Odysseus often hesitates before acting, because he uses his reason and gift to evaluate things. This patience is one of his more or less important attributes. This has saved him and his men many of times, and it can be easily seen in various instances throughout his travels such as when he disguised himself as a beggar when he finally reached Ithaca, waiting for the right moment to reveal himself. The character of Aeneas in The Aeneid also fits just about every explanation of a classic epic hero.

He is of noble take being the son of the goddess Aphrodite and the mortal Anchises. During his journey, he faces and overcomes temptation and in general, he acts as the good vessel the gods wish him to be. For example, blushtide when he wanted to fight and die in action during Troys last hours, he honored the gods and left. He is a passionate leader and is able to rally his troops, even when it seems that all is lost. When he returns to Troy to look for his wife, who he discovers is defunct; he leads his elderly father, son and the rest of the survivors to Carthage.
