T only Stick Anyone? Think of the top 5 donnish universities in the country and take to be them. Now lets make a checklist of things that we as students inadequacy academically, as healthful as socially. Students want teachers who know everything and allow answer all our questions rhetorically, we want dark gloomy rooms that only support lights at the front of the classroom, and close to of all we want to be at schools that pride themselves on not accepting gentle collared students that have a 3.5 GPA as well as a quota on how many As will be given give away. As youve guessed this isnt what anyone would want in a college let alone freshmen or transferring student. Stanford University is everything Ivy conference colleges arent. In the decades since World War II, Stanford has become one of the most prestigious universities in the United States. It has extensive research facilities, including the Stanford linear Accelerator, a remote sensing laboratory, and an earthquake engineering center. (Stanford University). Stanford is soon in the top 5 of colleges academically and top 3 overall in this year college polls. Stanford has much to offer than safe academics or being alumni. Its students and/or future students dont have to be tempted with words like prestigious, the campus speaks for itself.

With the completed campus combined its over 8,000 acres a lot more to offer outside of the classroom. The Hoover Tower is something that everyone will remember just from visiting the campus. It stands over 250 feet tall and can be seen from anywhere on campus, but what makes it so memorable is when you go to the top and see entire campus from a birds eye perspective. In addition to the tower the campus has over 70 outdoor sculptures, a 100 year old church, Jasper Ridge, Stanford Golf Course, the memorial auditorium which Dr. Martin Luther queer has spoken in, and the list can go on and on and on.
