Mesopotamia and Egypt both located in ancient Asia had the conceptions first complex societies in its beginnings, before 3,000 B.C.E. Some of the things that in some ways link up Egypt and Mesopotamia were their political systems, their religion and social stability. The two nations were ruled by human kings who were aid by bureaucrats or administrators along other officials. Egypt was led by Pharaoh, their god-king for a long time assisted by a vizier who is a high official and an army of officers. Pharaohs powerful government maintained the continuous prosperity of the nation. On the other hand Mesopotamia had various self-governed, independent city-states competing for the power.
